Elumi pearls come purely unscented so you could use them strictly for the ambiance, or you could add one of our 6 specially curated scents in order to customize and enhance your Elumi experience.
1. How to safely add scent to your Elumi pearls:
Pour the unscented pearls into a suitable container
Place your wick into the candle pearls, leaving only a short tip out.
Add a few drops of your favorite Elumi oil close/around the wick BEFORE lighting it.
Light your Elumi Candle and enjoy.
It's important to add fragrance oils to your candle BEFORE lighting it for fire safety as oils are highly flammable. This allows the oil to gently mix into the melt pool as the pearls around the wick start melting. Our scents do not contain any harmful chemicals and therefore work subtly, without overpowering the entire room. They’re also said to filter out pre-existing odors like cigarette smell, food odors etc. The more drops you add, the stronger the fragrance will be.
2. Can you add different scents to the same candle?
Yes, you definitely can! You can easily switch your candle's fragrance whenever you want. Designed for versatility, our unscented candle allows you to change scents with ease, giving you a customizable and fresh fragrance candle experience every time. Mix more than one scent to customise your unique fragrance, or simply add a different scent after you refresh your candle.
Please keep in mind oils are very flammable and should NEVER be added to a burning candle. You'll find that some oils work better than others, so experiment carefully until you find some that work best for you.
We recommend using only Elumi fragrance oils with your wax pearls. These fragrances are pre- tested to ensure user friendliness, scent throw, and safety.
