A candle scent can set the mood of a room. With Elumi, you get to choose it each time you light your candle. Our wax pearls begin unscented, so you can enjoy the candlelight as it is or add fragrance when you want it.
How Elumi’s candle fragrance works
Pour the wax pearls into a suitable heat-resistant vessel and insert an Elumi wick, leaving around 2 cm exposed. Add a few drops of Elumi fragrance oil to the unlit pearls close to the wick, then light your candle. As the wax around the wick melts, it releases the fragrance.
Always add oil before lighting. Never pour fragrance oil onto a lit candle or hot wax. Follow the instructions supplied with your Elumi products and keep your candle away from flammable decor.
How much fragrance oil should you use?
Start with a few drops near the wick. If you prefer a stronger scent next time, adjust the number of drops before lighting. A smaller vessel and a larger room may call for different experiences, so let your preference guide you. Use Elumi fragrance oils with Elumi pearls as directed.
Can you change or mix candle scents?
Yes. Because the pearls themselves are unscented, you can choose a different Elumi oil when you refresh your pearled candle. You can also combine Elumi fragrances to find a pairing that feels like yours. Add oils only while the candle is unlit and cool.

Think about the moment you want to create. For a quiet morning or a room you want to keep feeling light, choose a scent you find fresh or soft.
